Ongoing support - Production tooling

We take good care of your tool.

We know that your production tool represents a significant investment and its ongoing maintenance and care is essential if the tool is to produce good quality parts for years to come. That’s why at Formula Plastics we’re able to maintain tools during the 24 hour production cycle.

Twin Shot

Formula Plastics has invested in 2 state of the art Twin Shot moulding machines. This machinery enables two different materials to be injected into the moulding tool during the production process. The two materials used in twin shot moulding can be plastics with different characteristics, separate colours or a plastic and a rubber combination – providing a variety of applications

Twin shot technology is used to manufacture technically more demanding products or where high levels of aesthetics are required. These include, for example, two colour facia knobs for the automotive industry and plastic parts requiring a rubber seal or rubber handle.

Twin-shot moulding is an excellent choice for demanding aesthetic applications.
